The Royal College of Surgeons for conferences, dinners and receptions
The College has been based at Lincoln's Inn Fields since 1797, and its elegant classical building brings a fascinating history to every event, backed by a highly professional events team.
The View, on the 6th floor
The View is a brand new conference and events space on the 6th floor, giving amazing views over Lincoln's Inn Fields and a reception capacity of 320. That gives a conference above Lincoln's Inn Fields a modern setting.
Oak panels and a Reynolds portrait
The Edward Lumley Dining Hall is oak panelled and takes 400 at a reception. Smaller meetings and private dining in historic rooms suit the Council Chamber, where magnificent oil canvases watch over visitors, including a portrait by Reynolds of the surgical anatomist John Hunter, and the Council Room receives 150 for larger gatherings.
Tiered lecture theatres
Two modern tiered lecture theatres serve a College at the forefront of surgical education and training. Webb Johnson Hall takes 130 standing and Committee Rooms 1 and 2 together 120, so a London conference programme has room for break-out sessions.
Museum and library
The Hunterian Museum receives 150 and the Surgeons Library 90, rich in character for a drink and a conversation. The Cheselden Suite and the Vicary Room add further rooms.
