The Stablehand
Lancaster Gate
Hyde Park, Central London (W2 2SD)

Built in 1839 on an old archery range, The Stablehand quickly became a cherished neighbourhood meeting spot for residents looking to catch up with friends over a pint, and was frequented by notable locals throughout its history, from Winston Churchill to Tony Blair.
The Stablehand aims to be London’s only gastro pub sourcing all of our ingredients from the British Isles, and where that is not possible, we look to source ingredients from countries and territories with close links to Britain, such as our lemons from Gibraltar. Our Head Chef champions British produce through culinary favourites such as steak, fish pie, and the classic treacle pudding.
We are also thrilled to celebrate British winemakers through our unique wine list, fully sourced from vineyards in the English and Welsh countryside . Our bar offerings are equally as exciting, with classic cocktails on offer such as the bramble and the garden fizz, showcasing Scottish whiskeys and gin from the Cotswolds.
The cosy wood panelling and velvet furnishings amplify our relaxed and friendly atmosphere, making this the ideal retreat for after-work get togethers or a weekend treat with the family.
