The Thin White Duke
Since opening only last year, The Thin White Duke has already gained a reputation as one of the finest cocktail establishments in London. The venue is located in the heart of London’s historic Soho, and hides a truly unique feature – a secret music recording studios tucked away beneath the ground floor bar.
As an intimate space, the venue is available for full buyout only, meaning the whole bar is yours for the night! The bar team will be at your disposal, and the events manager will work with you to create a personalised menu of cocktails from the mind of genius mixologist Dav Eames and an exciting selection of Dominican canapés provided by our friends at Boca Chica.
Music is an important part of the concept at The Thin White Duke, so whether you’d like a DJ or a singer, a personalised playlist or a Jazz trio, the team is on hand to make it happen. The state of the art audio system is perfect for music industry events such as album playbacks and record launch parties.
The venue is available for all manner of celebrations – whether you’re celebrating a birthday, an engagement, a hen do or your next office Christmas party. The expert team are ready to assist with everything from decoration schemes to personalised menu designs, and can arrange all manner of entertainments for your guests from candy floss stands to magic shows, burlesque dancers to tarot readers.
For an additional cost, we can allow guests to use the functionality of the studios. This could include options such as using the studios as a live podcasting/filming space, set up for live band performance, or recording sessions with our in-house engineer. The bar is an ideal venue for both live music or album playback sessions, and the studios are a great add-on to this. Our team can also help with providing a full range of music services for events, whether hosts are looking for DJs, live bands, jazz groups or just personalised playlists.
