Tipis at Mapledurham for retreats, client days and sustainable events
Tipis at Mapledurham is a semi-permanent tipi venue within the historic Mapledurham Estate in Berkshire, just an hour from London.
Bar, stage and shepherd huts
The main tipi is designed to stay in place and takes up to 160 guests. It comes with a fully equipped circular bar, a stage area, a catering area and shepherd hut restrooms, and the 4 tipis take 200 standing.
Low-carbon by design
Low-carbon solutions, reclaimed materials, on-site energy efficiency and a zero-waste-to-landfill policy shape the venue, and a working watermill powers it. For hosts after a low-carbon way to gather, each corporate event receives a carbon footprint report that can feed into net-zero reporting.
Retreats and a riverside backdrop
The all-inclusive package scales from employee retreats to product launches and client engagement days, with room for over 1,000 guests. Planning team retreats by the Thames here comes with professional on-site event coordination. The backdrop is Mapledurham House, the river Thames, a working watermill and the Thames Valley landscape, which gives company parties and other celebrations an outdoor setting beside the river.
