Vivat Bacchus was first established in Farringdon in 2003 and five years later another branch opened in London Bridge. The restaurant’s main focus are the rustic food, artisan cheeses and the wide variety of quality wines. The menu features fresh, daily sourced and seasonal ingredients from highly regarded producers and the emphasis is on honest food and rare meats, grilled to perfection.
The industrial décor, with open ceilings and exposed pipes and ducts resembles a working winery and creates a relaxed atmosphere, where guests can enjoy both lunch and dinner.
A unique feature of the industry lies within the wine cellars, which hold just over 15,000 and the Cheese Room Experience, where guests can personalise their own cheeseboards to their liking. With so much variety, there will always be something for everyone.
The restaurants also have a total of four private dining rooms that can be hired for weddings, formal dinners, private gatherings or wine /cheese tastings or conferences. The dedicated events team will help hosts choose the perfect menu and accompanying wine and will make sure that the events run as planned.
